I think I've tried everything I could to recover my system, but nothing has worked. System Restore, System Repair, Last Known Good Config, an emergency repair disk... everything and anything that might bring it back, yet... nothing. Now I've got no choice but to wipe my hard drive and install an operating system, which would then mean I will have to reinstall every program I use to make my graphics. The only one I won't have anymore is Photoshop since, alas, I cracked my version. "For shaaaame", said one of my teachers. >_>'

This couldn't have happened at a suckier time. A mere couple weeks after I'd gotten my tablet and started actually drawing again, this just haaaaad to happen. Grrrrr! I'm just grateful I didn't lose all of my personal files and hundreds of textures/pictures and stuff, all saved thanks to my amazing boyfriend. If only it was that easy for saving applications, such as Photoshop and ImageReady. I've got everything I need to reinstall Paint Shop Pro, Painter Essentials, Animation Shop, and KMPlayer, though, so again, I'm thankful for that.

I'm not sure whether to install XP Professional, Windows 7, or Ubuntu/Linux now that I can get rid of that awful Vista Home Basic I endured two years with. *twitch* I'm leaning more towards XP because it's the one I'm most familiar with and I know my computer will go far faster than it ever did with Vista. I guess it'll all come down to how compatible each OS is with my computer's hardware in the end. *sigh* Stupid Vista and its stupid service pack. ;.;

I've really been ignoring my El-Jay these days. Three months without posting icons? It's unheard of! Eh, I seem to have lost my groove again. You know, that feeling you get when it comes to making icons; just wanna make more and more all the time? It's gone. Again. Ugh. ;.;

Tomorrow, tomorrow! I love ya, tomorrow! )
